Strength and flexibility
It's tricky getting the balance 'just right' between strength and flexibility in a workshop.
Practical objectives (captured in pictures here) and solid theory, coupled with a planned set of activities that build knowledge as we progress through them. A strong foundation that's flexible enough to bend to participants' needs – so they easily opt for more discussion and story-telling over analysing case studies. Most mornings, I'm reminded about the challenge of finding a balance between strength and flexibility as I move through asanas on my yoga mat. I've still got a long way to go before I get the balance right in yoga, but I reckon it's helping my professional practice.
