Curiosity, a phone & walking shoes
Last month, ten people joined me for my first #facilitography walkshop in Sydney.
They came with heaps of curiosity, a little courage and phones.
They had good walking shoes and plenty of sunscreen.
It was a sweltering day. The elements were against us, but proved no barrier to a great experience.
Why did they bother? To get better at observing - with street photography - so that they can get better at reading the room.
Observe to serve, in other words.
If you can read the room, you build trust with participants.
They feel heard and understood.
Conversations are more productive.
Thanks to Woollahra Municipal Council for partnering with me to deliver a novel experience for a group of facilitators from diverse sectors.
I’m lining up dates for #Faclitography Walkshops in 2020 for Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart.
If you’re keen to know more, just comment YES and I’ll be in touch.
Now, relax, and take a few minutes to see what the first #Facilitography participants noticed and learned. Enjoy.
